I saw the sun today It was just for a moment But I was drowning in a sea of gray Then right above the place where I stood The clouds and gloom blew away As though to say to me It wouldn't always be this way The sun shined on me today For a moment Through the clouds And through the gray And it was enough I saw the sun shine Felt it's warmth through the rain And even as it fell on me I knew I just knew That I would be okay |

Then right above the place where I stood The clouds and gloom blew away As though to say to me It wouldn't always be this way Isn't it wonderful when we're given these little beams of hope? Wishing you that continued assurance! Loved this! |

I LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOVE this poem, Aenea! It makes me very happy (and inspires me so much) that you see things this way. I am sorry that your heart was sad, but happy that you could not just see, but FIND a ray of hope and much determination to be OK. Your excellent poem reminds me of a poem I wrote - which was, unlike yours, horrendously bad as regards art - where I found a patch of sunlight on a blue carpet. As bad as that poem of mine is (and as much as I cringe for its clumsiness when I read it), I sometimes read it for the content. May you continue to be OK, and far more OK, as I know you will.
