I remember the long nights of stars how the people came to dance until sunrise That feeling I once had where the trees became gardens sanctuaries for me to idly gaze at These nights of cold suns and buried hearts They reminded me of a time where the rocks on the ground were meant to be kicked The coldness of the eastern river, that smell that ran its nose through the cupboards wafting in the air Those nights summer nights Sunrises and laughter Today I simply wonder where those nights have gone Am I the one who left or did they simply move on I remember the stars below the fire For this I never forgive I will never drop my desire. "Am I the one who left or did they simply move on" Sometimes it's tough to look back. And time does have a way of being gone. Enjoyed Tomer. JL Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. |
