Her scars were much lower than her back revealed

It was a moment, only hers
only the soft socket that carried its ears
towards the hollow sound of the bedroom floor

Her right cheek kind of dipped a bit
slowly inside her heart
she felt the winds become apart of her soul

She felt the wind like the souls of her feet
With no scars to bare
only the wind and the sky were hers to stare

With their sea of light
there are no scars
no defeats
below a skin so soft,
a long whisper came unguarded

Her scars were hers
never anyone else's.

Ms. E.  Indeed we do.  Perseverance is the key.  Thanks for the comment.
