King of Spaghetti

I’m the King of spaghetti pasta and all –
I cook up-a-the sauce with garlic and the meat-a-balls

I simmer the sauce for an hour or two-oh
Then carefully boil the pasta mezzo duro.

When the vivanada is ready,
all catto for sure,
I take out the Parmigiano Reggiano grated so fine and-a-pure
and-a-sprinkle tell I hear:
“Grazie per favore”

Qualcuno porta il vino
Mangiare! Mangiare!

My kingdom is small but welcome to all
Spaghetti, and a-sauce, and
ah-juicy meat-a-balls.

Just caught some basil in my friend's garden, shall we decorate/season your spaghetti with them?

You brought a smile for sure with this one. Not sure if your spaghetti would pass the test ... but your poem shows such passion that I trust you!

Buon appetito! Evviva gli spaghetti! Al dente!

Oh, ecco il vino ... un Chianti va bene?

Love,
Margherita

Margherita,
Sure your basil will be great in the sauce.
It should be ready by 7:00...

Viva Italiano! Spagetti mezzo duro!!!

Yes, but I like a sweet Merlot or Port wine too…

Thanks for reading and and being so kind.

Don't understand the foreign language, but I smell the foreign Heaven. Yum.
