You awaken, in fear, from the deep depths where you were slumbering; to hear something pass by, ponderous and noisily, in its lumbering. Your breath catches, when the floor shakes, and you swallow nervously as your body quakes. You know its out there, coming just for you; you use to dream of seeing one, but, now, its coming true. Hide as much as you can, for it finally grows near. Adding to your confusion; magnifying your fear. All grows quiet within as it does without; you waiting, tense, alert, and have no doubt. It has finally found you, hiding behind your walls. It has gotten inside and roams freely, in your halls. The lumbering wasn't real; the nervousness is as it should be, because all, is just, in anticipation, of love from me. |
