I am the rock in a sea of sorrows, the waves trying to wear me away. I withstand the riptides of all the tomorrows, above all I will always hold sway. Dispersing all, evil and sad, that the currents should bring to me. I am the last vestige against whats bad, in a turbulent and tormented sea. I am the tree on the plains of desolation, where life tries to wither me with decay. I stand, my limbs held in constant contention, keeping the turbulent winds at bay. Deflecting all, anguish and heartache, that the gails may buffet my way. I am the last harbor that you need to take, for I'll provide shelter for you to lay. I am the heart that beats for you always, a steady rock that will always be here; the sturdy oak, forever standing and stays, and with love, chases away your fear. Defying all that comes up against me, the last bastion that you'll ever desire. I'll show you all that you could want to see, and you can show me your raging fire. |

Okay you two lovebirds. Leave room here for the rest of us. Just kidding. I'm happy to see fertile love abounding here right before my old tired eyes. Makes me nostalgic. ~ If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong. ~ |
