Yes I remember Or it is better to say I recall how I wanted It to be There are sparrows And other marvels Filling the sky With their wanderings While swans in pairs Glide along the shore There is trust In my fidelity An understanding That some men are brave And capable of love That the world Travels its nights Lit by brilliant stars The moon shines Through long years An autumn breeze Ruffles your hair Over the collar Of your coat . |

The stanza that opens is perfect, sets up the poem, and the readers mind for whats to come.. I am amazed by your talent to paint a scene with so little pigment..and yet through your brush strokes, the world, in increments, is explained. |
