Dear readers this analogy's one everybody knows It's based upon the classic tale "The Emperor's New Clothes" In which a group of acolytes pretend they all can see what some swift talking charlatan's played off their vanity Now you may say "But Doc, this is analogous to what?" "At PIP there is no emperor or clothes transparent plot." All true my dearest readers, but, and though some won't agree We do have one called "Balladeer" and his "new" poetry Appears the "heir transparent" rests on laurels as opposed To such originality, as this, one might suppose |

I hope you weren't inadvertantly referring to the heir transparent's short commings. Lori |

Lori, Lol, you didn't just say " hair transplant short combings " did you, tsk, tsk! Lol. Doc Angel4aKing, Thanks, lol, I didn't say if there were a slot for Emperor around here it shouldn't rightfully go to my friend Balladeer, I was merely suggesting he might update some of his material, lol. Doc, I don't know what I laugh over more...your originality, or your comments... you're so punny! |

Sunshine, Thanks, as you previously stated, you gotta love a guy that's on a mission, even if it may turn out to be self destructive, lol. Doc Michael, Thanks, it is good to have you back, your "Wordsmith" poem struck a few chords. I have on a few occasions done a little soul searching myself. As a fellow traditionalist, you make for an interesting read. Doc tuffluv66, Thanks, and that moniker pretty well sums up this write. Somebody just had to tell him, I guess the onus fell on me, or that could have been "Bonus" 'cause I do so enjoy messin' with the big guy, lol. Doc |

Seems to me like one too many onuses have fallen on you, Moose. You're right. There's nothing original about me. I'm just a reflection in a mirror that no one stands before....such is life |

"deer", I'm just slingin' a few arrows, just 'cause most of 'em happen to be headed in your direction lately you can chalk up to your "outrageous misfortune". Doc |

suthern, Sorry, this one dropped out of sight before I caught your reply. "All in fun" for sure. I've been side-swiping him pretty hard lately, the anticipation of his retaliation continues to fire the imagination. Wow, that's a lot of "shuns", lol. Doc |
