Kadamba flower

Nudging through your long damp dark locks,
With tender fingers breaking through fickle knots,
Sapphire blue petals floating at your eternal pond,
Shinning sweet pearl drops above your forehead spots,

Glowing pale vermillion seems dissolving in sweat,
Kadamba decorates your mane, fragrance is too strong,
Diamonds sparkle helplessly to your bangle moves,
Rubies in fragile anklets, profound sounds prolong,

Slender mascara lining on your tender eyelashes,
Lush green adorns pallu hanging, swaying away,
Sandal oil intoxicates the already weaken hearts,
Even talkative myna in mango grooves quietly lay,

Sounds of drums, shehnai, fill your moisture air,
Fresh mehandi follows that swan like smooth stride,
Desperate peacock rejoices your melodious voice,
A wet footstep captures the unaware monsoon bride.
