rainy day treasures

two of hearts
torn apart
rekindling what is left
the part that is me

been too long
to hang on
to all
the regrets
of what began
and ended
a total mess

so tucking the past
neatly away in it's place
I take out the teasures
that I saved
for a rainy day....

I have not read any of your other poetry I am sorry to say. I will remedy that shortly. I have been away from the site for some time but I hope to have some time to read again in the future.

I like it. Its leading, but gives the reader a slightly different direction from any other.
