It is an unforgettable image Every shape, all faces, lips agape, eyes closed with watering mouths. ...waiting, I suppose, for it’s desires to be sated ready to accept nectar of someone else’s making Much too reliant, too naive to thrive on its own How did we get this way? A destiny, perhaps, to be either the feeder or the fed. (with apologies to Sunshine for the inspiration from her wonderful: 'Watering Bees') |
