far behind rocks, forests, and pure mountain streams remembering a world without man shimmering waves of translucent splendor on this lake of dreams wildflowers flaming in abandoned fields before a perfect twilight calm silver–lantern moon parting clouds and stars in infinite mystic wonder the sound of distant evening bells and music from a farther place and time she walks this same grand world in endless grace and beauty, while I remain in love forever ... unnoticed and very far behind --- b. e. adams (7/26/2011) |

Such a beautiful setting for so much longing... I know being invisible, too. *S* |

Enchanting poem, dreampoet. No one paints and blends their words quite the way you do. Oh so good! |

Bruce...you connect to the earth so beautifully, and yet still long to see footsteps on the path. I understand this. |
