I dream away at night Away, away from here Far, far away This bed, a boat to sail My dreams, the oars That fly me up, and up, and up And away I dream at night My secret dreams Dreams of sweet things, of soft things Of things that only I can see, Can hold, can call my own These dreams, these imaginations A fancy, a flight A dashing run through open windows And unlocked doors They carry me away, away to places unseen, unknown, and Untouched by casual hands I dream away at night Away, away from here Far, far away I surrender to sensation Senses awash, alive with every good thing In dreams I see, I touch, I taste, I hear, and smells all the possibilities Drink in life, and eat it's fruit At night, in my bed In my dreams I'm away, away from here Far, far away And free, free to be... Ah, a person whose dreams are sensational, my tend to drift toward the dark side of the street. Nice work, MorningStar. ~ money can't buy happiness, but broke can't buy anything. ~ |
