Thinking back... I am waiting for the school bus in front of Mason's store. It is raining again, like yesterday and the day before. No thunder or lightening just quiet, gentle rain, soaking my mind with watercolor memories, impressions undefined. Of soft rain and unbrellas and the deep, dense forest viewed through a veil of time. You stir so many nice memories of days gone by. Really love the feelings you evoke. |

Oh, Ida, this is exquisite. Hope you don't mind, but I am there with you, all those years ago, in silence, soaking up that beautiful, invigorating rain and imbibing the scene you painted with your master-artist's pen, captured for all time. Owl |

Monet would have loved the colors of this poem, my friend, as did I. |

Great thoughts can come to us when we free up our minds from the clutter of everyday life and travel back to a more simple time. I liked this, Ida. ~ Eggs and bacon, honeymoon style / What's honeymoon style? / Straight up and hard. ~ |

As a good poem should, this made me feel like I was there. Well done Ida. Marcia www.thewritingforum.net |

Love the images of this Ida, soft rain much needed. It’s pouring heavily everyday for us. Fine writing. "The secret behind survival of mankind is kindness and love within our hearts" |
