I wrote something for you, my dear, confessions on a page The words poured from my soul as if floodgates were disengaged I wrote and wrote but never read what came out of my heart But when I hit a thousand words I figured I should start I read what I had written down from honesty and truth And realized that though I’d grown up, my heart was still in youth My heart had said “I love this man”, but how can that be true? Three months of real relationship is all we have gone through I’ll put the “love” aside for now unless it comes from you ‘Cause even if it isn’t “real” at least you’ll feel it too *Amber |

Glad to see you found your inspiration. A thousands words would kill me if it didn't convince me though. Here's to longwinded youthful emotion. Michael |

Great wordplay and honest assessment of life and its various mountebanks and unreal situation where one gives and the other takes. You are so good at this kind of poetry. ~ Eggs and bacon, honeymoon style / What's honeymoon style? / Straight up and hard. ~ |
