ALBEIT . . .

Her sky-eyes soft-hold
the horizon
velvet-green gentle
against the blue, blue, blue
of infinity
and her enigmatic smile,
as secret as the thoughts
faith-hidden in her heart
and as warm as the soul-sunshine
adoring her bare shoulders,
tells the vibrant country-side
she loves so much
that no, no, she hasn’t forgotten, no
no, she hasn’t forgotten . . .
