Paths of Glory (with Kirk Douglas) Watching an old movie Called, the “Paths of Glory” They woke up this wounded guy For, the firing squad, in this story. I’ll bet it really happened By, someone who likes to kill I guess that’s human nature And will always be, until We quit thinking we are better Than all else, plus, fellow man You can’t tell me there’s a god Who would have put that in his plan! But, people still believe in it They say, we are the best Re-made here in his image Well, that doesn’t pass my test! People should try to be kind And, try their best to be good, Just think, what the World would be If only, everybody would. But, we let greed and jealousy Lead us blindly, down this path The human being, superior? That, makes me want to laugh. So, the joke is on all of us Because, we won’t look, and see The worst threat, to life on Earth Is, our, humanity!
