HIS FREEDOM 14 June 2011 She called down to the bottom of the garden, where she knew he was picking berries, but didn’t know whether he was hiding in fun or truly didn’t hear her or because he was irritated by her conversation and wanted to get away – and she went indoors again without knowing giving him his wish whichever way. That's kinda the only way to handle that kind of situation, Owl, be firm, but don't push. Her not pushing was her firmness. Am I making sense? I know that if I was that guy I would ponder the fact that she didn't continue to call for me, and more than likely would start walking to find her. Sweet treats soon to ensue. ~ Those are my principles, and if you don't like them ... well, I have others. ~ |

That one makes me think. The situation keeps growing in my mind. Well done. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |

Thank you, Jerry. Yes, you are making total sense. I believe, and hope I am right, that I am never pushy. My dignity is far too precious to me. I believe, too, that one teaches people how to treat oneself, and thus, to the best of my ability, I do not allow people to treat me with anything less than dignity and respect, and I try to treat others – well (blush, blush), as close to most people as I can – in the same way. Thank you, Nan. I enjoy your replies. They are always very interesting. Owl |
