If ever I was to dance again to show my soul to sing to tease my temper slight of me allow myself to sing. If ever I was to smile again that lasting phase of hope that world of wonder infinity transpose my fear to love. If ever I was to walk again across the land of faith through my torment of indignity to break apart my chains. Then follow small whispers of guiding love, to end my failures past, guide me through my tears and lead me back to you. |

This is very beautiful and sensitive, Michael. Unless you are talking about God, you can and need to do this on your own. You don’t need another human to make you whole. It is only when you not only are whole (as you are), but FEEL whole, that you are in a position to start and maintain a relationship that will blossom and last. You just need to nurse and guide yourself back to where you want to be. And your past so-called “failures” are exactly where you say they are – in the past – the present and future is yours to fashion. Of course, doing all of this with God’s help, is infinitely easier. And you are SO right - small steps, slowly and one at a time, will get you there the fastest. Very encouraging smiles. Owl |

My take on this is you are actually searching for your own "pure" self. I relate. I searched that the elusive self for many decades. I finally located it, and it was with me all the time. Nice writing. ~ Those are my principles, and if you don't like them ... well, I have others. ~ |

Lead you back to your own self, it does speak to me as if you are reaching and the hand you find may be your own one, of self acceptance and forgiveness. |
