Nights linger longer
wide-skyed, slow-eyed,
shadows dancing
to the butterfly beat
of sigh-soft whispers
in the wake
of a woodnymph
fading into
the slow grace
of her death-dance
in winter cold.

There is a flower grower that I buy from. they classify their plants with the brand name "simply beautiful", and these words reminded me of those flowers..they are "simply beautiful"
