Girl from Chinatown Sometimes on full moon nights she comes around to my side of town, the girl from Chinatown. She's a free spirit beholden to no one, wanting nothing but to pass a little bit of time. She likes sushi She loves wine, nary a care only some time to share. I wouldn't mind knowing her better, when she comes and where she goes only she knows. Perhaps she's a child of the wind, always moving around with no location to settle down. Such is the life of the girl from Chinatown. JamesLee 04June 2011 |

Perhaps she's a child of the wind, always moving around with no location to settle down. She surely is a gentle breeze that brings you lovely inspiration, dear James. Very nice. Love, Margherita |

Nicely done with mystery the theme all the way through. I knew a woman (girl) like that once, but she wasn't from Chinatown. You did a remarkable job on this. Too many poets would want to get more involved. What you gave us, the readers, was just right. ~ Even if you are on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.--Will Rogers ~ |
