Lets Go Surfing Now Some walk in malls Some run on mountain trails Some swim in oceans blue I ride the waves, My physical body is happy My spirit is free. Upon the North Shore... Surfers are waxing their boards yearning to ride another wave, and another and another. Surfs up... Wake-up Get-up Fuel-up Spam & eggs, Wax the boards Out the door Ride the waves. Lets Go Surfing Now... The sound of the waves awaken me this morning Like an ocean wanting me Like mermaids luring me Like love embracing me Freedom releasing me. Never ventured into the surfing crowd, me being a land-lubber from Arkansas. Still, I can see, and understand, what a thrill it must be conquering the big waves, and even if the wave washes you out, there is time for one more try. Yeah, I can see that. ~ Diplomacy is the art of saying 'Nice doggie' until you can find a rock ~ |

The sound of the waves awakens me this morning Like an ocean wanting me Like mermaids luring me Like love embracing me Freedom releasing me. Enthralling! Dear James, I understand this passion though I am not a surfer myself. I once read an article about the surfers in Hawaii, it was fascinating. Of course it can be also dangerous, but once you have felt what you say so beautifully, the "mermaids lure" you into it again and again. Enjoy your surfing day! Love, Margherita  |
