Get high on life.
Don't be besotted about what's around you.
Secret to happiness
is no secret anymore.
Hey! Are you carrying a burden?
Your shoulder bruised
from pushing that bolder
trying to get . . .
where exactly?
Took me many years to understand
if you're fighting
that fight just because
you’re supposed to,
quit it.
Look around.
Open you eyes a little wider.
Take in life and find that
road
your road, the one that will make you happy.
Get loaded on it,
what causes you to smile each day
as you walk that road of yours
because it is your road,
no one else's.
Doing what you like to do
is not work
it isn't a chore.
Doing what you like is happiness.
Wear your smiling face everyday
it's contagious.
Makes you and those you meet
feel good.
Please,
don't be sacrificial victim
of the days of your lives.
No!
Get high on life,
intoxicating life.
Find your niche
that make you
who you are
whatever, whoever that may be,
integrity,
words of a tome you are writing,
secretly.
It's really all about you.
Those who love and care for you
will champion your cause.
If not they need to step out of the way.
It's all about you.

Ah, Martie, I stick enough of the darker stuff on here, I just thought I'd surprise everyone with something happy and positive. Thank you for reading and commenting.

Margherita, it certainly is a vade mecum at that if only people (myself included) would learn to live their life such as I have described. Thanks for being here.
