A moment of tea

Happy the one who can share a moment of tea,
without knowing if his friends fell of a cloud
or if a thunderstorm crossed loving Italy,
happy which can ignore the dices cast by a hand,

In every mouthful his heart is rested
by perfumes of iris and some soaps of honey,
he drinks and his memory leaves him quiet
as well as a child tired by games of skittles,

In the soft heat he savors the peace of furniture
and the silence of the carpets of east or china
the sleep of the bees which drink resins,
and sting the antique devils of oak groves,

His consciousness dilutes in the jumps of its spoon,
towards the deep lakes of a journey of milk,
in the taste of dreams which the tea weakens
he understands that something changed in his life.

Heureux celui qui peut partager un instant de thé,
sans savoir si ses amis sont tombés d’un nuage
ou si un orage a traversé l’Italie amoureuse ,
heureux qui peut ignorer les dés qu’une main a jetés,

A chaque gorgée son cœur est reposé
par des parfums d’iris et des savons de miel,
il boit et sa mémoire le laisse tranquille
ainsi qu’un enfant lassé des jeux de quilles,

dans la douce chaleur il savoure la paix des meubles
et le silence des tapis d’orient ou de chine
le sommeil des abeilles qui boivent les résines,
et piquent les démons antiques des chênaies,

Sa conscience se dilue aux bonds de sa cuillère,
vers les lacs profonds d’un voyage de lait,
dans le gout des rêves que le thé amollit
il comprend que quelque chose a changé dans sa vie.

You conveyed the perfection of a moment of tea, dear Yann, ... is it poured from a samovar?

A pause, a contemplative moment, yes, we are all in need of this.
