The other day two objects together side by side stood happily half empty and gazed as lovers do into two blue eyes. I paid them no mind having imbibed enough to ignore their quiet vigil until suddenly the little one sidled up to my dinner plate and clinked it like a toast to the invisible. I noticed and paid homage and listened attentively but silence always follows actions of the lifeless. Let it be, let it be and so I left as me because nought to do, nought to feel, and nought to think or say to a little silver milk jug pushed on a walk-about. In retrospect beware perhaps lest, oh, lest we find ourselves forever attached to the force behind a milk jug! Helen / 17 May 2011 |

Never under-estimate a milk jug and the force behind! I enjoyed this much, dear Helen. Even a milk jug is alive when we think that it is made of atoms, in which the electrons orbit at high speed around its nucleus ... Always there is reason to wonder and to increase our awareness and you do it beautifully. Love, Margherita |

Thanks Margherita. I wouldn't dream of underestimating "the force behind" but it needs to ... grow up and stop playing games and then as long as it is behind its force is somewhat diminished in the mind of one who now can be dismissive. Something like crying wolf too many times. Love Helen |
