She lifted her arms So her waist could give the signal To the man across the street to come forward Her eyes watched as he crossed the street With his navy blue suit on Black shined loafers And that steely gaze Like he was sending his eyes Into a mercury of pleasure As he watched her stand On the opposite corner They touched one another With his hand slowly running down her neck Like the pears of fruit That grew on the east side boulevard Then, as slowly as the wind could move They locked their hands together As if time was gently pushing Away the idea of time itself Her arms, like branches of trees Swayed delicately As their long shadows Showed every step of their romance While the sun masqueraded in the silhouette of their figures His hand gently touching her forehead Gently, Standing on the front doorsteps to his apartment. |

Tomer, what a slow moving, delicate read... like watching an old film unfold against its rolled frame. Indeed I saw this in black and white and just at the end, color unfolded. Brava! |
