Paint ran down the churches bells Isabell was running through the streets Where the cafe's and corner shops Curved along the wineries and vineyards She remembered where the night Would lead her to How the hollow light Could tempt the glass-cut mountains To watch from their stairs Running through the streets The church bells ringing Her hands waving incessantly through the air The strands of her hair Gently waving along the winds smooth breeze She was running under her dreams The mosaics of the museums rattling as she breezed like the distant waves That crashed off the shore To a place she finally reached Where her eyes could tempt Those around her to join As the church bells rang Isabell, atop their gold plated towers.
