The Tumbling Light In the deep, deep dark, my brain flashes sight -of a garden in a forest -where the trees sway in chorus -dropping tiny stars that fluoresce and Ideas that hide in shadows reach to catch one tumbling light. They merge and link in combination, prodding Man's Imagination to write on tapestry weaved from birth all dreams and hopes thus far. So if in Life his pen runs inkless, he can read how unrelinguished he once held his dreams extinctless blinks of tumbling stars. For their divine inspiration is the heat that flames creation into making Man cross silvern stars that span the Heaven’s breach and from their brink back cosmic reach his hand outstretched with truth to teach- “To settle not for what you see but to envision what can be”. Once launched, they glint and glimmer, these Ideas now spectral hot, -poking free the mind's detention, -prompting Fate's proclaim to mention -that Ideas cause Man's ascension not his status, wealth or money, nor his claims of things he's got. “To settle not for what you see but to envision what can be”. Here I am again. One of the most significant poems I have come across of, dear Namyh. Love, Margherita |

Namyh... This poem has a very old feel and style about it, and I'm not about to suggest anything to take away from its beauty. You did a fine job...and I hope to read more of this style of poetry - old school is good school. Thank you! |

Owl - There is an Infinite outside of us and one inside of us. We are a long way from understanding each. Maybe the awe we give to the one outside, where the stars and planets and our hopes live, seeds the understanding for the one inside, where organs and tissue and our happiness and soul reside. If there is a bridge between the two, perhaps it starts with the poet. Thanks Owl for absolutely loving everything about this. Makes this scribbler of words proud to be a bridge builder. Namyh |

Margherita – If it took us 5 plus million years to get human enough 2 million years ago to start civilization 20,000 years ago from brain created Ideas, then it makes me proud to be a soldier walking in the parade of evolution that allows me to bring just this one Idea. Ain’t it great that new Ideas invigorate our poetic boots so our feet don’t hurt while marching. So happy you found a little ‘wonder’ here Margherita. Y’all come on back, ya hear. Thanks for stopping in. Namyh |

Margherita – It appears that what separates one man from another is the presence of an Idea in one and the absence of an Idea in another and the behavior each exhibits as a result. I just thought I’d write a little about that with the hope something significant would come out of it. You confirmed that something did and that puts a big ‘significant’ in my day. Thanks a lot for the love Margherita and for your return. Namyh |

Sunshine – Ahhh Shucks! Just when there were clouds announcing impending rain, you’ve gone and put some sunshine in my day with your words. And if this has a very old feel and style about it, it’s part due to this very old school poet finally graduating from school itself. My guidance counselor even once said “It’s about time. Now get outta here”. LOL. So very happy you found some beauty here at the old school which is indeed some good school. Thanks for making the Sun come out Sunshine. Now I can finally locate my G.E.D. It’s gotta be around here somewhere. LOL. Namyh. |

I enjoyed your comments-replies too, dear Namyh, and I want to give your fantastic poem another chance to be read and "absorbed". Love and appreciation. Margherita |

Thanks Margherita. I’m a firm believer in ‘absorption’ and of course the much sought after ‘reabsorption’. You honor me with the chance for both. Now you got me feeling a little fantastic and it feels good. Namyh |
