Morning breaks the spell of past with fists like lightning bolts piercing through the mood of a dark and sombre mind. Birds and butterflies and me fly in conscious formation round and round and round again the strength of one to overcome. Willing now to be released mind welcomes in the draft cool and soft; a mother's kiss on the forehead of a child. Thus released and free and glory be the feel that loosens sides and bottom, top, of compressed despondency. And as the overcoming gels and hardens into good self-love there's yet a spot for lightning bolts to break it into … loving me. Another day has dawned on all those dawned before but of the round and round again what of, what of, the round again? Helen / 22 April 2011 |

Lovely rhythms you pen here, and a lovely expression of the waking process, and how the Earth does turn! ![]() |

Hah! The round is the you in the summertime. It is you bundled up against the cold and catching snowflakes with your tongue. The round is you sitting flat on the ground turning dirt for the springing of flowers and veggies. And finally, round is you as you put away your summertime fun and "fall" into getting ready for the winter's blast that makes you feel more alive than all the rest. 'Er sumtin' lak dat. ~ Don't insult the alligator till after you cross the river. ~ |

The cycle of life is fascinating even in it's repetition. I gotta believe the circles connect for a reason. Like the song goes, "yesterday a child came out to wonder caught a dragonfly inside a jar fearful when the sky was full of thunder and tearful at the falling of a star" |

Thanks everyone for your comments. I think my stories are getting too complicated - it's not actually about me but rather what one does (perhaps in another realm) for another and then the question - would they do it again and again. Something like that. ![]() Helen |
