love breaks out in shatters
scattered by the shards of decency

love breaks out in shimmers
glimmers of hope in ecstasy

love leans upon the confines
of his tender embrace
lifting the hope-lines of
her ever yearning face

love shudders, then flutters
in sheer unbridled delight
taking flight, then out of sight
of hopes fore’er fancied

of dreams forever dreamt
