Hard Rain It's beginning to rain, my thoughts don't seem to care. Each step, splashes memories of us. I can't find a place to put you, can't find a old shoe box to put these mental photos in. Today I just had to get out, get outside and walk this off. This feeling of never being able to make my life work. Years of trying to make love last, trying to find someone who will love me, like I love them. I'm fifty years old now, and still haven't got a clue. A mile from my home, It's raining hard now. It always is. Z |

I love your poem, though I feel your pain. Unlike you, who didn't care that you were walking in the rain, I love it. I suspect the reason you are not finding someone who (reading between the lines) knows your worth, is because you are aware of your worth which is an excellent position to be in and one you don't (and should never) compromise on. It is a lonely path, but a much happier one (though it may not seem so) than settling for a second-rate relationship. Despite that, perhaps you will find somebody who knows your worth and I wish that for you and the happiness that will accompany that. Owl |

Just swallowing my emotion, lieber Zeitgeist, as a mother who knows what you are speaking of. Your poem is extremely powerful and makes me want to reach out with a hug. Though you may not be aware of it, your life has been, is and will be precious and just perfect in every moment. Now, after walking in the rain, which I love too ... how are you going to honor this day? Love yourself, trust yourself and walk tall to the rhythm of Universal breath ... it is always there you know. Breathe and be ONE WITH ALL THERE IS. And everything will fall into place. Smile to life and live it! Love, Margherita |
