Yes, interesting piece. We all have our ways, quirky as they be. There is alot to be said for accepting people for who they are, not always easy but certainly says alot about our character. Wow, my reply is longer than your poem, sorry I get carried with my interpretations. Liked this, Lady Owl~ |

ok, I am replying to this simply to let everyone know what can happen to you when you're (and by that I mean me) left all alone without supervision.  When I first read this, I did as I always do...look for the deeper meaning. Because I couldn't find that meaning, I looked closer. I noticed the first letters of each line (after counting the syllables of each) that they were I-H-E-H-O. That in turn reminded me of a song from years ago that I could not ever get out of my mind, so I looked it up and finally discovered its title..."March of the Winkies" (from the Wizard of OZ.)So, I listened to it and this time I enjoyed it because I could relate it to something...your poem. I warned you |

Giggles, Steaven. As you probably realise, the poem wasn't meant to be an accrostic, but I am delighted you had such fun with it and enjoyed listening to a song as a result (particularly as you apparently didn't enjoy it before - smiles). I have seen the movie form of The Wizard of Oz (a long time ago), but I don't remember The March of the Winkies. Perhaps you should be left alone and unsupervised more often! LOL. The deeper meaning of it, as it appears you realise, is not what it appears to be. Smiles. Owl |
