in a thicket of pines on the warm summer ground we made ourselves comfortable talked for awhile soon we were clutching groping and kissing you allowed my hand down your blouse and you touched my leg but quickly moved your hand away I took it and replaced it you sighed audibly nervously our mouths found each others' again we explored with greedy hands and tongues soon we were naked I gasped at your loveliness my ears were thundering like Gideon's trumpet our breaths were panting we gave into each other soaring as only pure love can soar as faintly we heard your mother calling your name ~ If you don't want gays in the military, make the uniforms ugly. ~ [This message has been edited by JerryPat2 (04-08-2011 10:21 AM).] |

You BET I was glad it wasn't him. Oh yeah. Thanks, Lori for putting a chill inside me. I loved her mother, but her Dad? Nope. ~ If you don't want gays in the military, make the uniforms ugly. ~ |

Very nice Jerry...remember those days well. One note in the following lines - "...you allowed my hand down your blouse and touched my leg" I would probably add 'you' between 'and' and 'touched' eliminating the possibility of anyone thinking your hand touching your leg down through the blouse...hee, hee. I have old eyes though, so maybe it's just me! j. |

Hah! Naw, it isn't your eyes, j., I'm on my way to fix it. Thanks . . . ~ If you don't want gays in the military, make the uniforms ugly. ~ |

Yep, young love, nothing like it. Fall in love so hard and when something happens to break that love the pain is like nothing you've ever experienced before. Thanks, Blues, for contributing to my small part of the blue page. ~ If you don't want gays in the military, make the uniforms ugly. ~ |

The title promised something beautiful, dear Jerry, and young love like the one you describe so vividly is indeed something extremely beautiful and the memory seems to sharpen with the years going by! ![]() Thank you for the smiles. Love, Margherita "Love is the One who masters all things; |

You are most welcomed, Margherita , I am happy you found the poem to your liking. I can still hear her mother's voice, that's probably why I wrote the poem, trying to exorcise it from my memory. ~ If you don't want gays in the military, make the uniforms ugly. ~ |
