Grow Wings Grow wings my soul, allow me to fly with those beneath the grass. Grow wings, hear the music and dance, ere I be lost in their midst. Grow wings my soul, for those I've come to see. © wesley james beard, jr. march 2011 |

Oh James, this is so nice, how aptly put. I adore the message and the deep meaning. Beautiful, beautiful, reads like a prayer. |

Yes, this is a beautiful prayer to your soul, dear Jimmy, and as EmmaRose says it shows your connection with those who have gone ahead on the path that leads to the light. May they all soar high! Love, Margherita "Love is the One who masters all things; |

I know a poem works for me when it leaves me with a moment of silence. This works for me, Jimmy. The picture adds to your poem and your poem adds to your picture. (By the way, congratulations on getting the picture issue solved.) I like this more than I can express at the moment. Alison |

I'm really glad you guy's liked this. Picture was taken last Vets Day in the National Cemetery in Houston, Tx, and the thing that struck me was this soldier slowly walking up and down each row of tombstones, pausing now and then to bow his head. It was a very touching thing to see. j. |
