Until I loved you I had never known the depth of love For love has touched me deeply in places that I never knew were there Nor would they ever have revealed themselves If not to lay naked in the sun and in the fragrance of the April air Until I loved you I had never known of bliss For love had never wrenched such tears of joy From out my most intimate well Then from the selfsame pool unleash a thousand more The bitter kind that from the deepest pits of sorrow swell Since I have loved you I will never love again Nor live another moment in passion’s Most exquisite form For sentiment so pure cannot repeat itself Nor by force nor by design be so innocently born Elizabeth Santos |

Very beautiful, dear Elizabeth. Your thoughts around this unique love reflect its depth. We tend to attribute exclusivity to our feelings of love and you express this intensely. Love, Margherita |

This was very beautiful, my first poem of the day, and what a poem to wake up too. Dreamgal |

Beautiful write my friend, though I truly believe love like that is never supplanted, and maybe never equaled because, like snowflakes, every 'love' is a little different, but, renewable. enjoyed... jimmy |

True love is almost indescribable, but you have described it anyway. ~ If you don't want gays in the military, make the uniforms ugly. ~ |

Lady Santos, It is so good to watch you wend your words again, for all to share. This aches, but is lovely in its pain. |
