O the fruition in the anticipated! the multi layered plan the chill in the air as if August never was but the temptation stays, privy to the promise and the faith this morning wide on white ghostly haze ,suggestive of the heaven in the background the spin on spiral waves the glare of the unforgiven now forgiven and I will wait (as if I have any control over it) a little longer for the rabbit to pull from the hat as I hold to the comfort athough admittingly, the chill, this very chill of what I've realized (feeling blessed) that I can endure in the interim. What control do we really ever have? Sometimes we just have to throw a few more layers on the heart and still, nothing comes to warm it with fondness. This was great Emma. Richard |

Such a fabulous piece of poetry!! Your last verse speaks volumes, there is so much to be said for enduring the chill. Really enjoy reading you, EmmaRose~ |

You are a very brave person, Emma. I’m glad you’re feeling a little better and could feel the suggestion of Heaven. Believe me, there are rabbits galore, but very few in hats. Sometimes you have to go out walking and you will find that there are rabbits and butterflies and flowers and beautiful happy clouds of all sizes and shapes in the bluest of skies – and even nice people – well, in Pip, anyway! I love your very beautiful poem, and very especially the strength of the last 3 lines. Owl |
