I recognize myself in scores of chalkdust and the need for more written in the whimsical I never needed anything and need is something I deplore actuality absorbed like I were a thing ignored in the difference: batting atchoo eyelashes biting at my bottom lip laughing as I was supposed to be a certain kinda chick-- as if it made a difference as if there was an attitude of some suspense in all of this... My posturing was pure nonsense. mine-mine-mine you were the one spinning like a crochet thread you pulled me like a bobbin and I felt my feet lift from the floor beautiful as I ignored the simple silly jealousies of every girl and every boy dancing 'cause I loved you more-- rhymin' simon music scored "To Sir" (to sir) with love with love you know that I will love you more forever and today adore I trickle down the tears. |

"I recognize myself in scores of chalkdust" THAT started it all and from those two lines I was captured and held spellbound. Abhorring the status quo and trying to be what you weren't, it all fell apart for ya. It wasn't all in sync. This poem is personal and as such some things I cannot fathom. But I go with your moods herein, and the moods shift and whirl like the life you have lived. Great stuff. ~ If you don't want gays in the military, make the uniforms ugly. ~ |

thank you lovie--since I'm not so amused by my previous muse, I've been reworking some moldies from the archives. If you have sound, here's a little mood music to go with it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrjxMg2IiGA Thanks for reading, you are a doll. |

Jerry pretty well said it for me too. It may go over my head at times too but it is still awsome, a beautiful thing to behold indeed. Lori |

Ah, To Sir with Love, super hit, super movie. She was wearing the style hair-do and dresses of the fifties, the whole nine yards. thanks for a trip back to "those" days. ~ If you don't want gays in the military, make the uniforms ugly. ~ |

the simple silly jealousies of every girl and every boy dancing 'cause I loved you more-- rhymin' simon music scored "To Sir" (to sir) with love with love you know that I will love you more You will always amaze me... even though we are some years estranged, even stranger is that we share so much in common. I always heard tell that the "middle states" were about six months to a couple of years "behind" in music...yet good music surfaces year to year, so even though I'm older...I don't find it strange that you danced....To Sir. Yep...lots to be liked, and felt, from this one. |

I want to say thank you before I get distracted and forget. This is another re-worked repost. I am discovering that I don't like much that I write, but I'm also very fickle. *grin* I enjoyed the memory of this write, though. So here it is. Hope you all enjoyed. My love to you all. Especially "sir"... |
