Its colors are not a fate, Orange and black represent a danger, A poisoned harmony That know insects and birds, Hats of scales on the head of painters and photographers, The nature says to them their weakness Make dizzy their glances. Mexico every spring Let them to escape, The toxic dream A winged suffering is, An ignorant cloud of Monarch butterflies. |

hello Ethome, you reassure me with your words, because words came like this and I am not sure myself that the sense is good, the last stanza I guess the toxic dream is the human poisons that people pour down fields and so i guess again, butterflies contaminated by poisons become a toxic dream too...I hope it works that way but I confess this is like lotery to give here some meaning...However, thanks for the supportive and appreciable comment. yann |

I love this Yann. Thank you for drawing attention to the harm we humans do to creatures that have no defense against us. We have an African Monarch butterfly related to the American ones that fly to Mexico in their thousands. Ours don't migrate, but are just as beautiful. Owl |

One can only hope that these fragile beautiful ethereal creatures will not be defeated by pollution. Nature knows so many ways to adapt fortunately, but it is high time that humans stop poisening their home. You said it in your own unique creative way, dear Yann, your visuals are always deeply captivating and thought provoking. I love this work very much. Thank you so much, your awareness is inspiring. Love, Margherita |

The world would be such a sad place without butterflies, yann. I know you are one who understands the value of nature. Ida |

sadly, like (essential) bees ... there are several butterfly species that seem to be rapidly disappearing (as well as so many other larger animal species) |
