Hello! I'm 17 and new here and just wanted to post a poem I wrote today and see what everyone thinks. I'm more into free verse and spoken word - this one's a bit vague, though. Hope you like it! save broken wings i wrote you a poem maybe it doesn’t mean as much as a flawless name for the ancestors you could never blame they tried, they did you told me why they left sailing away to avoid stagnation the ocean still knows their silent starvation she cried, you told me, she wept maybe it’s better here safe, but it still rains they moved in time, but with time came pain she never remembered the sun i think I’ll make it maybe it’s not my choice i wipe your tears, clear my voice i wrote you a poem maybe she’ll listen in peace Thanks! |
