I Have Seen Many Poems As Lovely As A Tree |

I know that at times I have seen Poems just as lovely as a tree. A tree cannot cause me to sob It just sits there, a pleasing blob. Man talks to God knelt by his bed Not haughty, lifting up his head. Man does worship the Almighty As he should, with humility. Mankind weathers cold, then the heat, Robins fly o'er and they do sheet. Like the tree, man endures the snow Hurricanes, when the wind doth blow. Man is not puny as some feel Why must we always be a heel? A tree communicates with God But man cannot, I find that odd. Poems are writ by such tender souls Whose names are Johnny or Nicole. They write of sadness and of mirth A tree cannot with all its girth. Suicidal twin kills sister by mistake! |

Jerry Some trees are beautiful aren't they. Loved the tie in between tree and man. Some people just don't give a sheet but I can see you do!! Take Care Eric Siamese twins move to England so the other one can learn how to drive! |
