Trust is a fickle fascination built on pastry thin layers on memories buried deep beyond our conscience recollecting until coincidences, scents, sounds and too, too déjà vu surface feelings triggered doubts superimposing themselves over the reality that sometimes trust comes with extenuating circumstances LGR©3/8/11 |

Yep, and sometimes those "extenuating" circumstances direct you the wrong way. I like the phrase you used to describe trust, Lori: "built on pastry thin layers." There is a lot to you that remains untapped, my friend. ~ Your writing is one of my guilty pleasures...more art than just words.-- steavenr ~ |

Trust does indeed seem to be built on 'pastry thin layers' ... effectively put ... well 'penned' ! |

It can be pastry thin sometimes can't it Lori, kind of like a, what have you done for me lately type of thing to make yourself trustworthy or otherwise. Trust, is fickle, but then so are we in general aren't we. This is a very good topic and you wrote about it well, it gave me much to ponder and thats always good isn't it. "that sometimes trust comes with extenuating circumstances" haha... that is brilliant! Well, well, done! Richard |
