Dancing Hula In days past hot molten lava brought forth these islands that would come to be known as Hawaii. No one knows the exact day when the Polynesians from a far away land climbed into their outrigger canoes and traveled across the Pacific ocean until they would land upon this chain of islands now known as the Hawaiian Islands. Here on this land they would gather and cultivate and sometimes fight for the right to own the land, to raise their families, and follow their time honored traditions. One so special that it continues to this very day... the Hula. JamesLee 28February 2011 |

How right you are. I will never forget reading the book, "Hawaii," by James Michener. Excellent book. I have never been there, and now I fear it is too late. My urge to roam has left me. ~ Never did I feel more devoted to my wife than after biting the wild garlic of treachery ~ |
