Staircase Of Light

In the early mornings rosy light
All awaken from the deep silent night
The dim blue mist is away, sweeping
Now awake from their long deep sleeping,

We hold them so close, beside us
Mist and shades alone divide us
Spirit harps are softly singing
As all souls are gently winging,

We know that they are around us
And their unseen forms surround us
lost friends so bright we see their face
As we ascend the familiar staircase
