On July 21st at 3 am in the morning, Armstrong entered my room, I lived on the moon and he came to wake me to watch TV, still put to sleep I saw the first steps of a man on another planet, my eyes forgot but not my heart, he still lands on the moon as soon as I think of this night, at 12 years old I never recovered from it, especially I shall never forget the great idea which had my parents to wake me up at 3 am. The world was watching! "The Eagle has landed"! "One small step for Man! One giant leap for Mankind" (or something like that). My family went over to my grandmother's house to watch the first lunar landing on her colour TV. Well, duh, there certainly isn't much colour up there on the moon! lol Yann, I enjoyed reading your experience of this world event! Love & Moon Light, Linda |

There are certain events in one's life that we can never forget, yann. It was wise of your parents to wake you. Ida |

Thank you Linda for the kind comment, I think a lot of people around the world remember this special day, it was memorable and a unic occasion to watch the moon, I remember we were afraid of what could have happened when Armstrong did his first step, like swallowed by the moon...Thanks again for the comment. yann |

Thank you Ida for the comprehensive comment, I was too young to not sleep all the night and I wasn't aware of the importance of what was happening, adults were and they shared with us this unforgettable moment. yann |

You recalled that historical moment beautifully, dear Yann. It was an absolute "must show" no doubt. No one since looked at the moon in the same way as before. What impressed me most was the view from the satellite to Earth ... breathtaking. Thank you for celebrating this extraordinary event. Love, Margherita |
