Stay gentle yet wistful
And whisper to me
Of bluebells in springtime
And birds in each tree

Blow softly sweet breezes
Through waves rolling near
Delight me with songs
So soft in my ear

Enchant me with echoes
Across silver miles
Speak of the magic
Of mystical isles

Haunt me with thoughts
Don't ever depart
From dreams nestled deep
In my mesmerized heart

Then when clouds impinge
On my heavenly place
I'll smile through the mist
And meet your embrace....

I enjoyed your "words of enchantment". Your poetry what I call 'feel good' poetry. It actually makes me feel good when I'm reading it. You tantalize my senses with gorgeous ~ and vividly descriptive ~ smells, sights, and sounds. Delightful!
