Why do you scream at me? you were the one who burnt my fingers, every time I touched love, Your voice irritates me, disgust me, you weave your words, like a magic wand, Hoping to mesmerize me again, I am not dancing to this song, or dancing to this dance, I know who you are, a liar, a fake, wearing many masks, This three ring circus, of clowns and acrobats, walking the tightrope, Tonight, it leaves town, you being the ring leader, time I call all the shots, I am tired of pretending, this show isn't going on, take a bow, for your performance, Trying to hide behind false truths, using distractions for reasoning, thinking I am dumb enough to not see it, Wipe off that silly grin, behind the clown make-up, making me cry instead of laugh, Well you can take your circus act, to another town, another audience , I want a refund for my ticket, I've seen this show too many times, the parts all too familiar, time for the best part of all, The disappearing act.... only this time, I never reappear! I dream in fantasy, because reality is scary~Millette (ARH) |

As a rant, this is more mature and more tightly woven than most I have seen. It expresses the poet's displeasure with sharp, left-right jabs. A good read. "And every time I've held a rose |

Thank you Mr. Poet, Yes, I have a punching bag, I workout with it often, left-right, upper cut, lol... I am usually a good natured person , but lie to me , treat me bad and it is on...lol I forgive once, but shame on me....if you do it again, .... I will not be anybodies doormat! ~ARH  |
