Freedom The beauty at the end of the sea At my feet on a beach lay my memories Washing broken bones in the sand But the deep is beyond my reach The horizon is the strength of my eyes The tides take my memories away Ebbing toward a lifetime at sea Where only a man can be free. |

Gosh, I had replied to this one and than the pc stalled and wouldn't work for a while ... so what did I say ... more or less: I love your concept of freedom here. The vastness of the sea offers room for a lot of memories and if they are diluted a little bit, that is all right. Only if we don't cling to anything can we be really free. Beautiful work! "The horizon is the strength of your eyes", what beautiful words. As always you manage to create such lovely picture poems out of your wonderful memories from a long life at sea for our entertainment. Thank you for sharing Andrew. Katriona |
