Its not that I didn’t like English I could just never read that well I knew what most the words meant But I had no idea on how to spell I really enjoyed the Shakespeare plays But do they need all those these and thys I really loved to hear it But to read it hurt my eyes Mac Beth was possibly my favourite Definitely the most fun I dare do all but become a man Who dares more is none I wish we had done more poetry But there were other things to learn I remember an accented poem About half cast being an insufficient term I think it was my lack of skills Like my handwriting and I couldn’t spell Was the reason I always played up in class And that’s why I didn’t do so well [This message has been edited by kudanesh (07-10-2009 07:58 AM).] |

Dear Andrew, I can tell that you love poetry and you write well. You have improved in spelling too. Don't let yourself discourage and if you have any doubts, check and verify. There are many possibilities online, i.e. www.yourdictionary.com. The spell checker does not correct "its" when it should be "it's" or "right" when it should be "write", because in their right context they are both correct. So you have to check the context too. I enjoyed this poem and your reflections. Way to go! Love, Margherita |

This was a delightful piece of poetry! ~ In both content and poetically rhythmic/rhyming form! By this poem, I'd say you could move to the front of your English class! ![]() ![]() EA |
