A glimpse of recognition, the spark of attraction, a look of disdain or simple curiosity. Eyes filled with compassion, The far away look of a dreamer. Faces speak without words and few expressions escape her steady, knowing gaze. Ida Werrett |

Yo dear Ida, I'm a firm believer that you can't tell a book by its cover. Love Bobby |

You are so on the mark. Looks and facial expressions often belie the spoken word. laterival |

Oh, yes dear Ida. There is such a repertoire of expressions and it is important to learn their interpretation. Cute and insightful! Love, Margherita |

Thank you all for reading and commenting. I've noticed how some people (my daughter for example) seem to be able to almost read minds and know what is going on without conversation. An inherited trait, I believe. Ida |

A great deal of insight and information can be gleaned by observing the gesticulations, mannerisms, and facial expressions of others. Another gem from your pen, Dear Ida Love from the three faces of Linda |

I enjoyed this immensely, Ida. I like to read mobile faces. I believe my face is very mobile and easy to read - well, most of the time. Some faces try to hold their secrets, and I feel uncomfortable and unable to communicate with such people, but, always, always the eyes have it. You can hide what you like by freezing your facial expressions, except for the eyes . . . they always tell, if you look deep enough. Owl |

Yes indeed, much to be read in a face, known and unknown, if you have that ability. Loved the idea of this. Very well written and enjoyed. Heart2Heart |
