The Beast Within The Beast within me walks the Earth thru rains of joy, thru smokes of mirth dragging behind the dregs of Men- Self Doubt, Despair, even Lust's mayhem. Unchecked, unbridled it destroys Ideas by injecting its venom of a thousand Fears which paralyze and stifle Man's thoughts of gain, strangling even seeds of a poisoned brain. Out from the Night with reins of Light, my Heart makes gallop this Beast of might. Traversing the distance to Fact from Idea makes the Beast sweat antidotes for a thousand Fears. For to turn an Idea into a Fact, it must be sowed to reap an Act which in turn when sowed, as you may have it, is the Act giving birth to a brand new Habit. Now take that Habit, sow once again and you'll reap a Character that rivals Men. And Character thus made, a Fact to see, can make you inherit a Destiny. No Dream will turn to dust this hour. I'll not let loose the Beast or cower. I'll hold the reins, winged chariot of Wind, and ride as Master of the Beast within. Namyh |

Heart2Heart – You are right that many have beasts within, either acknowledged openly or hidden in fear inwardly. Perhaps, the only difference between us is the ability each has to confront them and then tame them or less be overrun by them. Always a pleasure to read your comments.
